Default Re: Cheap but good insurance?

Hi,
3rd party insurance is in the range of $ 140 / year. (in WA).

The insurance company I have been with for some vehicles offers to add 'Fire and theft' coverage for additional $ 20 or 30 / year on top of the 3rd party.
That's not a lot extra to pay, but the problem is their coverage is capped at $10.000 payout. That doesn't help a lot if your valuable car disappears.

Full coverage isn't cheap. If you have a car with finance you have no choice but to have the full coverage.
One of my cars is worth about 30k, (not financed), so I'm taking my own risk of having only the 3rd party with F&T. If I have a crash its my own bad, (I can repair it DIY or part it out to cover some of the loss).
But if it disappears I would be very upset with the big loss. I should really get a GPS tracker.

Cheers,
