Paul McCamaley quoted in the AMC mag that there are too many "LEFT LANE BONNET POPPERS". I was at the GT Falcon meeting when this brought to the attention of the members by the President that they did not agree and would not condone his comments about BA GT owners. Perhaps the car clubs were not notified of their shootout, I presonally did not know of the event but that does not mean a lot.
But his other comments are worth noting. XY GT 14.5 secs and BA 13.5 secs not a lot of improvement after 35 years which is nearly correct but the GT won't do 13.5 more like 13.7 so there is some substance in his comments, "straight line grunt sells cars".
