Default Re: Government rejects Milo Yiannopoulos Visa - then backflips?

The whole Police tactic of charging for Police attendance to private events due to the vocal and violent opposition of the event and speakers is a dangerous precedent. It tells violent mobs all they have to do is show up and cause trouble and their target will be financially penalised, despite the person who is the target not breaking any laws. So he is right to not pay that bill.

You can bet when they Unions organise a march through the city that requires Police management, they don't get a bill. Milo's event was contained inside a venue for paying guests. The trouble was outside.
