Default Re: Reading Transmission Temp

If the service was performed by one of the well known Ford dealerships it should be genuine as they have a reputation to try to maintain and would be required to warranty the transmission if it failed!

Pay a visit to that dealership if possible to verify the service record of work done?---but strange why the previous owner would spend the extra $600 or so for a service not required till 60,000km?

I have had the car serviced at KnoxFord,Ferntree gully for the last 5 years(115,000km)and have found them to be fairly professional and though--after 2 complaints finally replaced a faulty thermostat.

But if in doubt replace it i suppose.
