Hi.. just bought one of these kits for my fg mk2 and got a professional installer to fit it. Unfortunately it didn't work and worse, it seemed to have damaged my
ICC! The screen's back light works but then nothing else appears on the screen - therefore i can't see the time... temperature... radio station...NOTHING!!!
When the ignition is off the
ICC screen's back light remains on so it just drains the car's battery.
The only thing that works is the radio but you can't turn it on or off on the
ICC.. it just comes on automatically when you turn the ignition to ACC..but the volume still works.. very strange!!
I've already spend $600 on the camera and the installation and now it's gonna cost me around $500 just to fix the screen unless someone knows of a fix for this!
Any help would be much appreciated!
