It certainly has set the bar Corey, for anyone with a hot street coyote......

As you will remember early in our discussion we were always so confident in the coyote platform with big time aftermarket mods, hence our recommendation to you to "drop" the Boss, and head to where the wild things are.......

The hard work has been done by Ford Racing and Kenne Bell here, and the challenge here was to see how much power for how much dollar.

So, forged motor, blower kit, 98 pump, what are the numbers???

Coyote presents many challenges for us mate as many people cannot justify the 10-12k for a Kenne Bell kit on stock coyote engine when for the cost of a YT snout and pulley you are in the high 400's without the need for forging an engine.

When that next step needs to be taken, we went to our customers to ask them what they wanted in a kit, and if people ponied up for a KB, the overwhelming response was, 3.6, and, sit it on top, like the good lord intended.

Will people want to buy something like this? Yes, if they want lots of leg room for power.

Are people justified in wanting to put a snout on a stock coyote with an intercooler? For sure, much cheaper than 2.6, and probably not far enough behind in power to justify the cost for many if they are going the whole hog.

580rwkw on pump gas? Exceeded my expectations by at least 30rwkw.

E85? to add 60rwkw would be conservative at this boost.

More boost? There is another 10psi left in the head unit, when we get out setup sorted for our own sedan, we will see what is really capable of.

Block strength? Have seen some failures in the US, we'll keep our eye on it however we have taken steps to assist us in reliability.

Racing something like this? This is a daily street ute for our client, the car is heading back to its owner in WA shortly, where the shop over there will take over the tuning and maintenance of the vehicle. If the owner wants to race it, we will assist him in achieving the best ET possible. There is no doubt looking at the numbers that this kit will exceed anything that a 2 litre class blower can achieve by weight of power output alone.

Will it keep up with a 4.2 Corey? of course not. But, if any Pump gas 98 octane Coyote wants to back up on our dyno for some comparisons, we'll always have the kettle on and the tim tams handy.

Hope your well mate, and great results from your car are inspiring!

Chris
