Thanks mate but this is the end for my Cougar.
I lodged a claim with Shannons on the 27/6 and have still NOT been paid a month later. Considering this is a straight forward no fault claim there really is NO EXCUSE for them not paying my claim.
All I get from my inquiries is that there is a "backlog" and it will be finalised "shortly".
My advice DO NOT insure with Shannons as their service when claiming is abysmal.
