Bought a new WB panel van in 82 for courier work, rear taillight globes kept melting the plastic surrounds.
Had a few other problems with it like exploding the diff, on the Harbour bridge in peak hour.
Sold it off and bought an older HX panel van (before RTS), which was a far superior van, imo. Previous owner had already fitted tramp rods, 1 inch Lovell sway bars F and R.
It was a fun car to drive, sold it in 95 and still regret it.
Brother had a s**ty brown Datsun 180B around the same time. hideous !
