Lightbulb New Forum suggestions

The upside (quite literally) of being Bipolar is periods when "brilliant"(sic) ideas literally spew forth like a fountain. For the most part, I have found it best to let others review said ideas for sanity.

So, my first idea (which clearly I have already implemented) is a thread where people can suggest new ideas for New Forums.
If you think this is a good idea you could sticky the thread (and even edit about my introductory ramble and replace it with something more official.)

So on to my suggestions...
Most of these are about consolidating and organising threads that already proliferate. Even if such threads are not a priority of the board, and/or are considered "troublesome," having them all together should make it easier to regulate:

GROUP BUYS
I understand there are rules around these, but some don't realise this, and the topic keeps popping up in odd places. Having a central place for all group buys, existing, ongoing, proposed, and ideas, as well as clearly publishing the rules in that forum, should make it easier to control and comply.

FAVOURS NEEDED
Generally this is to look at a car, or help with a job, or transport, etc.
Maybe there are some aspects that AFF doesn't want to condone, but again having it one place with clearly published rules would be better than random threads.
Could also include threads from members offering favours such as transport.

RECOMMENDATIONS
A place for members to post "I need a good X near my place" threads. And perhaps also for members to just post "I had a good experience with Y" threads?

HITCHHIKING
I don't know, this may be something AFF wants to DIScourage?
I'm thinking simply here of threads such as "I'm picking up my new car in Melbourne and Driving to Perth, anybody want to share driving and petrol?"
