In any case, it seems from the talkford forum most problems involve soot clogging due to failed afterburners and other issues.
On that basis oils on the shelf labelled 'unsuitable for DPF' would be better labelled 'unsuitable for most DPFs'? etc etc etc

My understanding is that the Mondeo DPF is not high flow.
I still do not understand why Ford does not recommend a "low SAPS" oil. As far as I'm aware, every other car manufacturer requires a C2 or C3 spec oil if a DPF is fitted.
