The Mondeo is quicker than it feels. It's quieter than the Focus giving the impression that it's alot slower. I think 0-100in about 8sec is probably about right. And with some km it could well be mid 7's.
I would also rather the Mondeo than a used Fairmont. XT V8's are also gone, can't get them anymore anyway.
