No because my tyres were going to be replaced soon after the conversion was done and i couldn't see the point in paying for an alignment twice.
Car steered straight and didn't feel too bad.

3 months later (whoops) when i replaced the tyres, the inside edges were nackered, more so than the rest of the tyre.
So yes you will need one.
