You can check it yourself anyway with the engine running and the bonnet open, just tweak the throttle cable a fair bit and while looking under the top inlet manifold, you should see the cable system open and close as you give it some revs.
I’m always pleased to hear of others who enjoy their ST24s.
And to answer your question on the ST220 thread, I couldn’t bring myself to use it as a daily driver and I don’t have any weekends off where I can do club runs or anything like that, so I am just not enjoying it as much as I would like to, but I’m in no hurry or even desperate to sell, so if it doesn’t, then I’m ok with that too.
