I've never seen anyone doubt the ability of a Defender or Discovery, just the reliability.

Make them safer, make them a bit more comfy, but certainly the body shape of this looks exactly like the 7 other Land Rovers already for sale.

A Defender was something a bit different, and if they could build a reputation for reliability (assuming they've actually improved that at all) then this new Defender could be a point of difference.
