Yep no more Ambiante :-( Ford could have easily put the 1.0 Ecoboost in it, and it would've been a cracker little base model.
Honestly, not really sure what Ford's strategy is with the Focus. They claim current Ambiante was on a small % of sales. With a decent engine and kit to compete with base models of other brands, I'm sure it would sell really well. Especially without the DCT.
Oh well, I'm after the Sport, so not really concerned. Not having it though does give the impression the Focus is more expensive (even though it really isn't).
