The 3 has it all over the Focus - in what way?
The Focus is already throttle by wire and whilst it doesn't have VVT it has a variable induction tract.
Focus fuel economy is actually lower than the Mazda 3's too - not sure how they did it, but the figures are noticeably lower.
FWIW, the Focus has 3kW more than the equivalent Mazda 3s too. A bit quieter too, although I'd say the Mazda 3 has nicer trim materials.
