You won't be dissappointed in the Fiesta. You say that Lotus tunes Proton suspension, but Fiestas underpinnings come from a family of JWRC cars including Focus DNA, with years of experience, and it shows when you drive it. Truly a drivers car in every respect fast though it may not be.
The proton does not compare Lotus handling or not. The Fiesta is German Built. The quality shows the minute you start it, it is by far the way to go even if you must pay a bit of a premium for it.
