Otherwise if you are having a particularly stressful time which coincides with the ups and downs that's probably enough to influence your levels.

I know pumps don't suit you and your work/ lifestyle but that is one of their main benefits when paired with a cgm. They react automatically with no input (to a point) from the individual. You can still have fluctuating levels but the pump will generally suspend insulin before you get dangerously low.
