But what about for 90% of driving at lower revs? wouldnt they feel lethargic at lower revs? (Relative to super8 or turbo6).

Why?
If as you say, the job of the 10-speed auto is to keep the Coyote on song,
then that would be doubly true on light throttle, smaller gear steps mean
more linear feel to acceleration...
