Lovford,
Remember as a new member of this community you are joining a group of people who have been conversing, arguing, joking, and taking the mickey for over ten years.
The forum has rules both written ad of course, like any community, unwritten.
You arrive on the scene and to be honestly constructive, your language, grammar, topics and general demeanor are not in keeping with the community expectations. As such your approach tends to grate leading to the friction you are feeling.
Now not many of us here are Rhodes skolars (see what I did there) but basic care and attention to your language and writing, punctuation, grammar, language and of course toxic topics would probably help your case in becoming accepted here.
It might be the 'internet' but don't confuse it for anything less than an existing long running group of people with existing relationships.
