^^^ This. The engine is cranking over so it cannot be the starter relay. For any engine to fire up (not just AU's) it needs air, fuel and spark. Check for the three mentioned by snap0964 and go from there.
Are you 100% sure it's not Smartshield?

Yes you can. From memory, on the AU's the relay to the left of the starter relay is for H/beam, to the right you have the fuel and LO/beam relays. Basically, any of the relays on the second row from top in the "fuse box" next to the battery. They're all the same.
If you want to confirm, maybe try pulling out the "faulty starter relay" and see if the car cranks over. I bet you it won't.

Agree. Unfortunately you will always have people handing over advice and suggestions because they think they're experts on the subject. In this case the subject and question being on the AU Falcon. God help us all if the advice given is different to theirs.
