Don't know, maybe get the auto elec on here to provide some details, rather than someone relaying something 2nd hand ? Just trying to give some simple universal advice to the
OP to solve his problem. Why would you replace a starter relay when the starter motor operates correctly ? Why can't you say which relay caused the problem?, or whether it may've been simple bad connection problems ? Without knowing the complete details and testing, How do you know this scenario is exactly the same? When faultfinding, assumptions will cost you dearly.
