I seriously doubt the power to weight ratio being the same a 2Ltr. Back in the 70s I can't remember a single V4 being used in any conversion around the traps or in any publications. The 1600, Twim Cam and 2Ltr where all the rage, (and very occasionally the 250cuin for track). I remember Bob Holden building a 2ltr with a BW automatic for Ford Australia to trial around 74 I think.
