I ask because I cant recall a time when I've purchased something and its scanned for less than I should have paid, these simple mistakes always seems to be in favour of the retailer.

I work supermarket retail for over 30 years and I can tell you the times the customer is wrong is 99 out of 100. Bent is right, on a specials changeover night 2 ppl are charged with changing between 2000 and 5000 tickets.
