I think the range on EV vehicles will be addressed in short time. The ability to charge / recharge will not.
You’ve only got to look at how town planning in the burbs - even the outer burbs has changed to allow multi level apartment dwellings on previously single house blocks to see what a challenge home charging would be. Our whole city was and still is being planned around the petrol powered car. No public transport infrastructure , just dodgy new roads to service huge new developments that each contain multi dwelling on single block complexes in many cases. Many of those don’t have their own parking space let alone a garage.
The only way EV will work is if BP and Shell adopt a Swap n go technology for your car battery like they do for BBQ gas bottles....
