I can tell you that my employer does not participate in a code of practice outlined by an external body. Instead it has its own policy that is effectively the same thing.

It still exists and the big boys still follow it. Oh and it doesn't matter if the price scans higher or lower than the shelf price. The problem these days is the kids that man the registers aren't aware of it.
