For those of you who love seeing tractors make the world burn, I've got a treat for you. This week we were amazed to see Dutch farmers effectively shut down a city in protest.

We're looking at about 1100
kilometres of traffic jam caused in the Hague by tractors slowing and blocking strategic roads. The government did try to stop the incoming tractors, some driving on the beach to go around the roadblocks, some just going through fences and over parkland.
Why were they doing it?
The government had threatened legislation aiming to drastically reduce nitrogen emissions from the farming sector (hang on, nitrogen is an inert gas?!) - which would mean for the farmers, having to halve, or completely cull their livestock herds.
Naturally, they got in their tractors and went on a rampage.
