FOUND IT, don't have the car back as of yet but its in a secure holding yard at a towing company, waiting for insurance to assess the car for damage. Got a call from the police tuesday lunch time to say it had been reported sitting in a Coles carpark at Corinda, about 15mins from my place for the last few weeks, the policeman who first inspected it, said it looked to be undamaged and the car was locked, stereos still there and the lock barrels look to be intact. Was just in the nic of time too, was going to sign the car over to the insurnace compny yesterday and cancel the rego. Will hopefully get to pic her up tomorrow if its ok to drive and the assesers done with it. If any damage is less than the $400 excess I'll withdraw the claim and fix it myself.
Like to thank anyone who took any notice and has been keeping an eye out or it.
