So the correct wheel adapters came in today. So i slapped in the new 1 piece axles. So axles, i can do in no time flat blindfolded with 1 arm tied behind my back.
The ally wheel adapters i got in green as thats my favourite colour. Id really like to meet the bloke who designed them, shake his hand and then kick him in the groin. Its just the mounting system, i wont get into it, but if somebody was going to reinvent the wheel, surely it would have been done by now otherwise we all wouldnt still be satisfied with what works.
The 1 peice axles are quieter. So the 2 piece axles have an outer spline and an inner shaft so theres alway a little play in them. So by noise i mean more of a light rattle when on the brakes or accelerating. The 1 peice shafts are not entirely silent, but pretty close to silent. No performance advantage. But hopefully i dont snap one or 2 every other time i run the thing.
