The vehicles were being made at these plants for other markets aren't they ? - if so then will production actually stop ? if not then surely it is a GM or Pug decision to stop production based on (among other things) Holden cancelling their orders.

They have stopped production of Commodore @ Russelheim & also Equinox out of Mexico for the Aus market as they have a lot of unsold stock in the country.They will resume in 2019.You Should read David Buttners statement regarding this.Cheers
