This a bit of a silly question but has anyone put in 225/40 18 inch tyres into a ws fiesta (I have a set of these) ? The us version has a 195/60 15 which is 615mm in height compared 637mm for 225/40 18. I believe the us version has slight different ratios in their gearbox. I do mostly freeway running so am not overly concerned about acceleration. The standard aussie 15 inch however has quite small tyres 576mm in height I think for. Is 60mm taller wheel and tyres a bit too much notwithstanding those in the us where it is only 22mm difference?
