Pinto 2lt was a belt-driven single OHC (one of the first). Can pick up a decent used one off ebay for around $200
The cosworth YB engine was based on the pinto block and had a turbo charged twin cam head. The heads alone go for $1500+ (needing rebuild). Awesome motor but you will required bottomless pockets to maintain one. A head gasket will cost you more the a complete pinto engine.
