Ahhh, what the hell, there's a story behind every car...here goes:

1976 Falcon XB 302 - Mum's car the car I caught the Ford disease in, one time my dad raced his friend's 253 VC Commodore Wagon to Mandurah from Perth beating him by over half an hour to the picnic spot; obviously in the days before hoon laws
1979 Holden HZ Utility - Dad's car, later to be mine just couldn't kill the thing, my brother would later kill it t-boning some guy who ran a red light
1982 Mitsubishi Starion 2.0Litre Turbo - Dad's Boss's son's car Boss's son raced his friends RX7 one night, the friend died crashing during the race
1981 Falcon XD 250 Crossflow - first car I bought myself loved that car but wrote it off one wet slippery day
1977 Torana LX SL/R 308 - Friends car only police chase I have ever been in (not driving) and the cops couldn't get near us, friend sold the car not long after
1972 HQ Monaro 253 - Test Drive guy tried to tell me it was a 308 but it was only a 253 - motor blew a few weeks later
1986 VL 3.0 5-speed - Friends car the burnout machine
1987 VL Turbo - Friends Car didn't care much for the turbo lag
1989 Magna 2.6 - Parents car boring
2003 Magna 3.5 - Parents car slightly less boring
1989 VN Commodore 3.8 Ex-police - Friends car if you buy an ex-police car you have to christen it by pulling over someone, we pulled over a tourist bus in the middle of the City
1990 VN Commodore 3.8 - Friends car good enough to out run a redneck in an old Statesman who wanted to bash somes wogs
1990 VN Group A Replica 5 Litre - Test Drive lots of power but no brakes
1986 VL Group A Replica 5 Litre with 4-speed manual retro-fit - Test Drive took it for a spin, salesman nearly $h!t his pants
1990 EA Falcon - Friend's Parent's car friend hit a kerb doing fish tails, could have made a formual one pit crew with the lighting quick tyre change we did just before his parents got home
1970 LC Torana 4cyl - Friends car one day the steering column snapped clean off
1994 Ford Laser 1.8Litre - Brother's car some guy ran a red light and t-boned me, put me hospital and the car was a write off
1995 EF XR6 - My car present to myself after graduating from uni, mildly worked it and had it for 13years before selling to my brother
2004 Monaro CV8 - Brother's car my brother traded the XR6 in for this, went alright but the 6-speed shifts like a truck
1992 EB XR6 - Brother's friend's went hard with the 5-speed
1994 VR SS Commodore - Test Drive I came this close to buying a Commodore
1999 AU XR8 - Test Drive good power and great handling
Every Commodore (and quite a few Statesmans, Astra's etc) from VT through to VY whilst working for a holden dealership I needed the money
VZ Commodore - Government Vehicle while working as a contractor man those alloytecs suck worse than the ecotec
VE SV6 - Government Vehicle while working as a contractor as above but even worse with VE's added weight
BA Falcon - Government Vehicle while working as a contractor power reminded me of AU XR8 though handling wasn't quite as good
1998 JS Vectra - Wifes car had an idling problem we couldn't figure out sold it off in the end
2003 BMW 325i - Friends car handles good but I can't get used to the power delivery - too revvy
2008 Subaru Liberty 2.5i manual- our current car so far so good, great handling but I miss the XR6's power
2007 SAAB Vector 2.0T - Test drive went alright but just didn't feel like a luxury car to me
2008 VW Jetta 2.0TDi 6-speed man - Test Drive liked it alot, especially the thick torque band, but but dealer wouldn't nudge on price; Subaru were much more accomodating

That's all I can remember for now :

I might start constructing a document Listing all the cars and a brief descrip of each. Highlights include

GTHO 1, 2 and 3 (no explanation needed)
xw gt with 351W Auto with steer (the ultimate road car when new)
Sierra RS500 (only car, other than the ho's that made my spine tingle)
Mercedes 190e Cosworth (what a chassis!)
volvo 242gt (unbreakable, faster than most expected, different)
Modified volvo 240 (such a sleeper)
Greg Norman's RX7 (fastest rotary i've driven. I put the foot down in second and my hand missed the gear lever as I went for third coz I was pushed back so much)
Standard 1980 Corolla (so much fun)
M-Benz E55 (still craps on any local v8 for lowdown torque)
Porsche 944turbo
1959 fairlane with worked Yblock (towed my caravan at 100mph. Had 2 speed auto that maxed out a 105mph in first).
Any falcon Hardtop I've Owned (horrible to drive - great to look at)
The first BA I ever drove (such a huge leap for ford)
AU XR6 Series1- the most plastic, peice of rubbish I've ever driven. Life a big RWD hyundai
VT commie - Leaked more oil than Exxon Valdez
VY commie - seamed worse than VT
Lada Niva - totally underestimated it
Hiace diesel camper with five on the coloumn (perversely fun)
Hyundai s-coupe - just woeful. Didn't handle, didn't go, didn't brake, terrible gearshift, no safety, no build quality, uncomfortable etc etc
Mercedes c180 - Beautifully built. Great for the wife. A bit slow.
Camry/avalon - just so boring
Magna Ralliart - better than expected
Saab 9000 turbo - still the smoothest engine I've sampled other than my old 53 customline sidevalve
Nissan GTR - R33 - Pretty quick. Very quick with modded big HP engine
Ford Meteor twin carb - Fun front driver
Bentley Turbo (1990) - like a lounge room with wheels.
EF Fairmont - so many continual repairs
EA falcon Spac manual with Cabriolet conversion - fun coz it was different.

Never driven a ferrari, lambo, aston, maserati etc but I have driven a hillman hunter safari wagon (equally rare)

BMW M5 - BMW M3
Porsche 911 GT3 - Ford GT (The Supercar one)
Mini Cooper (new one) - Lotus Elise
E49 Charger - VK Charger - VH Pacer
XB GS - XB GT - XW GTHO PH II
EH Holden - HQ SS Monaro - XU1
VB Commonwhore - VL Turbo Commonwhore
VN Group A - VE Clubsport - VR SS
Proton Jumbuck - Ford Territory - 1959 Dodge Pick up
Daimler Double Six HE - 1969 Dodge Charger
BA/F/FG F6 - XR6Ts - Newish garden variety BA/BF/FG GTs
Mazda RX8 - CX9 - Nissan 350Z - Nissan Skyline
Plenty of Falcon/Commonwhore/Magna/380 hire cars

That is all I could remember in this brief few minutes. I wouldn't even like to try and do it with bikes...

Best drives out of anything modern is by far the 911 GT3, I can't imagine anything more perfect than that.

Best drive out of the older stuff is the E49 Charger by far, light with plenty of grunt and snarling Webers giving throttle response to die for.
