Um, I think he forgot the number 2 at the front, or even possibly a 1...

$7500 is a steal if it's the actual price... So cheap that if that was the actual price, i'd be doing a damn good check and test drive of it before handing over any cash...

Scam. Usually involves using photos someone has put on carsales of their car. I'm sure the guy just wants a quick deposit paid etc, then he'd be gone.

What amazes me is the number of members who actually think someone would sell a car for $25-30k under market value

Surely a dealer would give them trade of over $25k so why would they sell it for $7.5k

Why do people automatically assume it's a scam?

There are illiterate people in this world and it may just be a typo.

Anyone in Gosnells able to take a drive past the address and see if the car is there?

Hrmmm... not sure. Lets review the evidence:
1. $50,000 car, selling for $7500 just because "I'm moving".
2. No details at all about the car;
3. Have you been living under a rock?

oh dear

how could you think this is anything but a scam, he will give you the story of being on a ship or some stupid reason you cant see him or the car but if you put $1000 deposit to cover shipping it will be yours and you pay the balance when you get the car.....or he will want to use paypal maybe even to pay you to organise shipping cause it protects us both and than grab your details and password and clean your bank account out

never buy a car sight unseen unless its from a licensed dealer or auction house and even than the only guarantee is for title

This may sound harsh but I think people who fall for these scams deserve to lose their money.

I don't blame the scammer, I blame the scammee. After all, if I ask you for money and you are stupid enough to give it to me, why is it my fault?

Same with the people who fall for the Nigerian scams and then complain and moan that they have lost everything. Too bad. Someone was smarter than you, they deserve your life savings more than you. It's all about survival of the fittest.

I'll pick the scam for everyone...

I bet it's encumbered. Pay $7500 (he thinks that's the equity) and you pay the rest of the payments.. (he probably owes a bucketload)

Look where he lives, you think he fully owns it?
