Wiring should be run through the sills on the right hand side and then pull the back right side plastics in the rear compartment apart and run the wiring through there all the way to behind the tail light and then follow the existing cabling to underneath the car from there.

Use a single 8mm wire for the fridge, and a similar one for the brake controller. The factory trailer plug has a wire for a brake controller (blue) but stupidly it doesn't go to the front of the vehicle - it only runs from the socket to the connector behind the tail light cavity.

On the plus side, those wanting to charge a battery will find that will find that Pins 9&10 on the trailer plug carry a battery feed and earth to do so.

Russell,

is the rear power feed (pins 9/10), connected to a acc relay or is it direct power?
Also picking up the brake signal for the brake controller is it OK to use the pedal switch? or recommended to use the tail light signal.

thanks,
