Someone is in a hurry

It is an option to consider but I think we have enough sections in the for sale area as it is.

I cannot really see the benefit to be honest, it's not like we're seeing a lot of threads about potential swaps anywhere. I have doubts that it would attract a lot of traffic.

Wouldn't it just be as easy to put FOR SWAP in the thread title in the FS section? In all reality most people don't go for a straight swap. In my experience (not particularly on this forum) some don't even contemplate it till someone makes the suggestion.

i don't see a need for it, i have an item for sale myself that i would swap for another one, all i have done is used the template and put the price that i would sell them for if i didnt swap it, then written in the thread that if anybody is interested in a swap they can PM me.

If you want to swap something why not just prefix the thread title with 'SWAP' in appropriate forum?

there seems to be some for and some against the idea just thought it might be a good idea i mean i have a heap of bit,s and pieces that i dont have to sell but i would certainly would consider swapping some stuff i,m sure there would be other forum members out there would be in the same boat so why not a thread dedicated to swap only

No need to do that, the idea has merit, without ideas the forums would just be dull, some will get implemented immediately others may take time
