Default ICC not responding

My Dad pulled the ICC out of his BA Ghia to retrieve disks stuck in the CD stacker. Since refitting it, the screen and buttons don't work, and A/C fan stays on full speed.

Could the BCM have died? I know he didn't unplug the plugs in the correct sequence.

A trip to a Ford dealer and they can initialize it again for $55. Should do the trick
