Yes - well certainly since I've been collating the numbers and the increase has been dramatic to say the least.

For the w/e 13/1 they averaged 17.4k cases per day.
For the w/e 20/1 they averaged 30k cases per day.
For the w/e 27/1 they averaged 66k cases per day (more than double).
For the w/e 3/2 they averaged 125.7k cases per day (nearly double again).

Had my booster this arvo.
Had AZ for my initial vax but Pfizer for the boost.
The doc stressed that I need to watch my heart very carefully for the next 10 days and even if I just think somethings not right to get straight to the hospital.

I was talking to mum this arvo. A friend had AZ and then Pfizer booster the other day and is now in hospital. They can treat it if you act on it quick, any pains or difficulty go straight to hospital.

Mum had AZ and Pfizer booster and so far no problems.

Why did the doc say that? Are you at risk (sorry don't mean to delve into your medical) or was it just a general precaution?

I have a heart condition but never been told what you were told in which I had 2 AZ shots & booster being Pfizer.
Your doctor could be over cautious but do take his advice seriously.

It's amazing the variations of reactions in different people.

Dad suffers from cardiomyopathy, a slightly enlarged heart because of this and pulmonary hypertension... Plus all the other crap that associated with it.

His first 2 shots were AZ and for both had a sore arm for a few days and a headache for about a week following, which caused him some sleeping problems. A reasonable success story I'd think.

His Pfizer booster caused a sore arm for the rest of the day and absolutely no other side effects. That was 2 weeks ago.

Seems Perth has got really big issues keeping the Covid-19 virus under control in Perths High and Primary schools!

Winterfold Primary School.
Closed because 2 teachers contracted the infection, it reopened on Thursday with relief staff, Year 4 class told to stay at home for 2 weeks after being deemed close contacts!

Harrisdale Senior High School.
Year 12 sent into quarantine for 2 weeks after a student tested positive!

Corpus Christi College.
All Year 7's and some teachers sent into 2 weeks isolation after a positive case. All Year 11's into 2 weeks isolation after a positive case on Wednesday!

Atwell College.
All Year 12's who attended the school on Monday or Tuesday must quarantine for 2 weeks!

SEDA College, Wembley.
Recorded 1 new case on Friday, not yet clear how many students will have to isolate!

Helena College.
A parent who toured the campus tested positive on Thursday.
Their children ( who are now isolating) joined Year 5 and 7 classes for a day only. No further cases so far!

Well I think we here in Perth WA are in for a long, tough, hard ride.

That aside, the point was about the supposed impenetrability of the immune system.

From the article.

"Cancer is NOT contagious
You cannot “catch” cancer from someone else. Close contact or things like sex, kissing, touching, sharing meals, or breathing the same air cannot spread cancer."

Really... Truely... Oh sweet Jebus... I didn't know that. Sound like I will have to cut back. I will contact my doctor about the vaccination tomorrow.

I don't know what's worse? Finding that out or finding out that the covid vaccine will stop me getting pregnant?

I feel like I'm being fed unqualified misinformation.

HPV - a virus - causes cervical cancer and is spread by having sex. gardasil is the vaccine, yes. Developed right here by an australian immonologist.

Careful, guys. It can also infect your mouth and give you cancers of the throat. You can also get yourselves vaccinated for it.

So what you're saying now is that your original post was not accurate, that you can't "catch cancer by having sex".

That sounds like misinformation. Sounds very much like sensationalist misinformation to me. You know, something like what you accuse Fox News of doing.

So I have some questions...

Since your original comment mimics the news network you so disdain, does that mean you secretly like what they have to say maybe? Maybe you secretly endorse these types of tactics? Does sitting on the other side of the media fence mean this sensationalist approach is acceptable?

Does my line of questioning mean I am pro-cancer and anti-cancer vaccine? Sorry, anti-HPV vaccine...

Still soooooo confused.
