Default Xr6t to xr5t

Hey guys
I am very seriously contemplating selling my BA xr6t to get an xr5t. Iv come t the realization that I don't really need a full sized car but I do want some performance. I just have a few questions to see if anyone could shed some light on the xr5t's for me (anyone with experience going from one to the other is more then welcome to comment).
How do you find the performance? My BA makes about 280rwkw so I'm not expecting the same straight line speed.
The other area is handling. I have swaybars, king springs and bilsteins shock in my Xr6t so it handles pretty well but can I expect the focus to be better again??

I new to do a little more research but can anyone highlight any major issues I should look out for when buying one. I have a budget of around 20-22 grand.
Thanks in advance.
Michael

Michael.
I went from an AU TE50 to my XR5, yeah the AU wasn't as fast as your turbo but wasn't slow.
I think you will find that the focus even standard will handle better than your modded falcon, but your right it will never be as quick in a straight line.
In LV most of the issues has been sorted. Mine has been faultless since purchase and it has been modded since about 2 weeks after purchase.
In standard trim they are a bloody fun car to drive, but add a few mods and a tune and they really come alive the I5T really is a great donk I reckon and responds to mods very well.

Thanks for getting back to me.
That does sound pretty good. I thought it oils be better on the handling front which is what Im after. I'm also looking for a little better fuel economy then what I'm getting now ( which is about 17-18L/100km). Could you give me an idea on the fuel consumption you get around town.
Thanks

Well mine isnt standard and the tune i have is pretty fuely but atm it sits at around 10.5/100km on the highway it will go to around 8.9/100km.
Standard is about 9L~/100L combined city/highway.
