Default AUIII rear brake upgrade

Hi Matt,

I have purchased the 330mm PBR front brake upgrade for my car from you.

Just wondering if there is a PBR rear brake upgrade? If so, how much would that sent me back?

The only option would be to run the std BA rear brakes as this will be an increase for you and not expensive.
PBR single piston caliper and a 303mm solid and slotted disc.

PBR single piston caliper and a 303mm solid and slotted discs. Would you want new rear calipers or would you buy some secondhand? Rear slotted rotors from $150 to $200 a pair and braided hoses are $150 a pair.Calipers expect to pay about $150 to $200 each unpainted.

Matt,

Sorry for digging up a thread, continuing on with this. Would a FG rear ute brake set up work? What is the disc size on the rear for FG?

I put 330mm Rears on my AUIII XR6 and used backing plates from an FG ute. You need to change the back plates or modify where the caliper bolts on as they are different to AU's, the caliper spaces out about 3-4mm more.

The std FG ute rear is 303mm and is basically the same as a BA or BF std rear set up so they should be fine except for the hoses as they would be different.

Depends on the application and what brakes are fitted to the car and if it has traction control or not but about $290 should be ok.
