For a moment there, I thought I'd wandered into the E-Series forums on a "certain" other site

"Yeah I was talking to dan(mate at school), and he asked me what he should do to his car, so I told him to get a bigger carby"

Me: " EA's aren't carby mate"

"BULLSHIT LOOK they got that round airfilter case ******** duhhh"

Me: " I give up"

Another one,

Mate: "I went for a drive in my EA, I punched it and as soon as it hit 60 the cams kicked in man! It went so hard after that!"

Me: "yeah fully mad man, i'm walking this way now"

I got heaps of dumbass mates at school, just wait till I remember some more!

BTW Santo this is one QUALITY thread! :hihi:

On the bus full of people my mate said this:

"man what is a turbo exactly? is it a switch that you flick so you can go faster? Can I do it to my car?"

He was talking loud as, so I quickly changed the subject just incase another car nut was on the bus:P

Had to walk away to recompose myself after that one.
I've driven a Proton Satria at speed - it had to be done, it was my sister's new car And the car would've done more with no probs (handled well imho) but my sister was screaming at me, clinging on for dear life lol. Surprising amount of speed in that baby (no, NOT my sister!). e

Street Machine lost any and all credibility for me, when they kept referring to the engine in FOX-1 (from Running on Empty) as the "legendary" 440 six-pack hemi......****ers.

Hahaha love this thread.

Ive been training with this lebo dude who has the a cousin with a 9second VL and can get a brand new WRX for 5grand.

"My mate's mate drove from Sunshine to Geelong in 7minutes doing 300kmh the whole way on a motorbike"

"Have you been to the SthEastern drags? They block of the freeway and turn back cars and use it as a drag strip". (too much FnF...)

"All teh asians go up to the dandy mountains and go drifting there every night, ive fully been there and we were drifting at 180kmh all the way down the mountain (through hairpin turns and blind corners).

This guy I knew when I was in Year 10 who thought he knew about cars but used to lie about everything told me his dad had a TF Cortina with a 351 Cleveland stroked to a 383 Chev, 4spd Top Loader manual, and made 980rwhp with 150 shot of nitrous and ran 9.4s for the 1/4 mile.. oh, and it had a $200,000 Ferrari leather-trimmed interior.

I went and saw it.. had a stock sounding Clevo.. could well be a stroker though, had an AUTO, a 30 shot of nitrous and the interior was tan vynil.. with a huge tear down the right side of the driver's seat. When I asked for a time slip.. he said he didn't have one because they got kicked off the track at Eastern Creek for not having a roll cage and running a 9 :

Wouldn't be going to him to get anything fixed...

There was a classic one my brother dropped last night, but I can't remember it. Damn German beer.
