Right - so who's going to step forward for this project, take ownership and start a new thread?

lets start a poll for the decision on the track. leave it open until sunday and then whichever one has the highest vote is the track we will use, but i agree with aussie fords NON racing, Open modifications. Is the poll idea a good one?

i rekin all australian would be better....holdens etc. and the $100k limit, that leaves it very very wide open to some very fast cars....so i dont like that idea...its too broad

Ok I haven't played GT4 for a few days, and I am at work so I cant check.

But what I was getting at is it should be ALL FORD. So, the 100k limit was so people dont use the GT40 and Saleen cars etc. Its so easy, we will have falcons, focus', mustangs, a bloody KA if you want. But the 100k limit stops the racing models - wrc escort/focus, GT40 etc etc.

Why would you want to race the holdens anyway? :

ah i thought you mean any car under 100k...and i think the 7 second subaru is under 100k :P

if it has to be ford only, then this 100k limit could work

OK, this is how it's going, correct me if I'm wrong...

All Ford models under the $100,000 price tag. Also excludes racing models that may fall under that price tag. And modded to your delight.

Just thought of something then, what if it's a car that you've won (eg. Mercury Cougar XR-7) and doesn't cost anything, because you can't buy it. What's the rule with that?

imo, if its got race livery, its a race car...freak or not, its still a race car. the price isnt everything...we should just make it all ford NON RACE car period.

So then how would you class the S7? Surely, and im guesstimating, that it would be a fair bit quicker than just about any other fully modded Ford car?

thats why i rekin we should run these comps 1 at a time...and narrow down the classes....if its just oz fords, there is no "freaks" in there....and to open it up to more than 2 cars...add holdens, and then we've got 4 cars.
