This just goes to prove you cant rely on our police force or our court system anymore, my neighbours called out to me one day standing in their back yard,they asked me to ring the Police as they had been waiting for 3 hours after seeing some one in their house and smashed back door glass after going shopping and rang police from phone box around the corner ,who told them not to go inside they would send someone, when i rang the Police the pr1ck told me they would be better coming in to station and submitting a complaint,after i told him what i thought of them leaving this couple in their late 70's standing in our QLD sun for 3 hours he hung up on me.one week later i was the victim of a Police drug raid even though i dont use drugs and never have since trying it when i was 15 years old (over 25 years ago).
you should have taken early advice when you still had rent in advance and got in thru the window as you were told to do, as you cant burgle your own house,duh.
when are people going to wake up that Australia's Police force is just a bunch of revenue raisers,
sorry i know there is a lot of good cops out there but ive only heard about them,sort of like a myth.

I had the police attend within 5 minutes of reporting a cold berg.

5 minutes of a traffic accident

10 minutes of road rage

So, in some cases yes, in others no.
