Default where is blend door motor

want to see if i can find my blend door motor so i can bang it to try to get it working again. lol or replace it

It's on the heater box towards the drivers side and you will need to get the dash out and the heater box out to replace it
They are bastard things

Not a fun Job I had a look into it on the AU and thank god i could get the climate control to reset itself without having to take it apart.

Yes the blender door was still working i could regulate temp a bit from toasty to warm by setting the desired temp to 16 degrees. All that happened was the potentiometer that "measures" where the door is must have an intermittent fault so the climate control lost the correct position of the door restting it all works normally. i can see this will be a problem that could get worse over time though till the pot needs changing. the door itself doesn't seem to be a problem it does seem to move ok. i gave it a spray of silcon lube just in case!

It's a bugger of a job the dash has to come out but fortunatly you don't have to remove the whole heater box but beware the connection from the motor to the door itself is very very fragile and the things aren't cheap about $250 to 300
