BA Silver ICC Fascia panel

Hey Fadi

I saw on your website you have the silver ICC fascia panels for a RRP of $100

What's your price to forum members as I'm interested in one of these. There were heaps of these on Ebay when I wasn't interested...but now I am interested do you think i can find one?

Mine's the standard ICC with 6 stack CD, no dual climate, round heater controls.....has the analogue clock but don't know if that matters as I think the fascia panel only goes to the centre vent surrounds, doesn't it?

That's great Fadi....Do you know what's involved to do the changeover....and the tools required? Or could you fit it and how much for supply and fit?

If it's an easy fit requiring only a screwdriver (thats all the tools I own) I could do it myself...I'm at Sutherland can you post?....or otherwise where are you located and what are your business hours as i may pick up from you?

we are in melbourne, however no need for special tools, we can send you instructions on how to remove the icc then should be easy enough to do. It will take you fair bit of time to complete since this would be your first time you attempt it. we do here $190.00 fitted.

So to replace just the silver fascia surround requires removal of the whole ICC unit?. Having second thoughts now to be honest. I thought it would just be a matter of 5 or 6 phillips head screws attaching the fascia to the ICC and bingo!, but if it means taking out the whole unit then maybe it's more trouble than it's worth.

I got mine done through ford & they only charged me $60 to install it, i asked them if it was easy to do as i was goin to get my brother to do it & they said it would take about 1 hour to install it. :

Thanks XR6babe..Thats useful info....However I'm inclined to leave it....If my old charcoal one was scratched or damaged then I'd go for one for sure but it's in perfect cond so I'd rather put that $140 -$160 towards mods I do need...like exhaust /brakes ..I honestly thought the fascia was just a surround held on by a couple of screws (although I haven't looked) but it seems to be part of the ICC itself. Bloody Ford for ya!

Oz, mate i bought one of these a couple of years ago and installed it myself, it is a piece of cake. The main thing to remember is to keep the ICC upright (as it looks whilst in the car) at ALL times.. Tech doc here I used the tech doc supplied by the site Good luck mate.

Fadi - I was intersted in one of these also and checked your website for details. It mentions "available in colours" but I wondered what colours please?

hi

if you have single zone climate then silver is the only available one. if you have dual climate then the piano black or silver available.

no sorry we don't, we only use genuine parts, and the piano black only comes for the dual climate ICC.

I was a bit wary of doing this change myself but did it recently and it wasn't that hard, though I had some help. Very happy with the outcome and wish I'd done it sooner. Had to get all the other bits in the same colour too of course, check it out:

That looks great!! I still have the silver fascia for mine in the box in the boot. I have started it a few times, then chickened out. LOL

It's not that hard to do really, just a few bolts to release the ICC, the plugs underneath can be fiddly, but lots of things on cars are fiddly. Keep the ICC upright and unscrew the facia and put on the new one with the buttons etc in place.
