The first time I saw them they had the hype of being maniacs on stage. It was lame. They were tame and did nothing like what I'd read about eg beat each other up, damage equipment etc

I still wanted to see them when they were in Sydney (not a huge fan but still it's a night out) but a damn engagement party stopped it all from happening...

The best thing with Slipknot was when John Safran got those guys into club 161 dressed as them.

I saw them at BDO in Melbourne, were pretty awesome, although System of a Down and Grinspoon were better.

What a fkn kiss-*** concert!!! Energetic too the max. They played stuff off their first album which is great (seeing its one of my favourite albums of all time) and some of the more spastic stuff of Ioea. Came out with bruises all over my body, thats when you know its a good show.

How do they suck now? Because of their more "commercial" new album? It was an amazing show, especially being in the thick of the pit.

They cant do it at every show. Its like when i went and saw Metallica in Melbourne at the start of last year. Ive seen awesome concerts by them on DVD and i was pumped to be a part of it. It was the shittest act ive been to.

Well the Sydney Myer Music Bowl was hardly the best place to hold a Metallica concert. Reguardless it still kicked ****.
