Anything that hits a semi or B-double ain't gonna come out too good and that means a Ford too.

Everyone picked on the SMART cars saying they too would be like this one but yet tests have proven that the SMART actually comes out of a head on a at 70 miles better than lots of other cars

The world is on the SAVE the PLANET so petrol cars will come to end sooner or later so we are all going to have to accept it one day - maybe not today but it will come if we don't blow each other up before hand.

actually in china they have a pretty good ancap safety rating . because safety testing over there includes pedestrians being run over . not always fatal getting runnover at a crossing with one of these babies- due to its light wieght and tear duct shape.

also with thier camera technology , they could put cameras and air bags on the outside of the car therefore a semi would simply slingshot the car across to the next block , only injuring about 20 people where it lands and killing just 2.

ANCAP stands for 'Australian New Car Assessment Program, and I doubt very much whether China would have anything anywhere near the same standards. Especially for pedestrian safety, especially not with a national road toll in the order of 80,000 per year.

As a percentage of their population, their road toll is actually lower than ours, but most of it is attributed to pedestrians having poor/no road sense, and cyclists and scooter riders, none of whom wear helmets.

Would buy one in an instant... then paint it yellow, should add an extra 1/2 star to its safety rating :

Why do people say its unsafe? surely it compares favorably to a scooter? or motorbike.
