This year the club will be holding a weekend away in Eastern Creek to view the Muscle Car Masters on the 6th and 7th of September. Accommodation has been booked and paid for. We will be departing by a 24 seat bus on the 5th at the Food for Less carpark at 4.00 PM (be there at 3.30). We will be staying at the Sydney Gateway Holiday Park at Parklea, it is the same place where we stayed at when we went to Eastern Creek last year. We will be watching the muscle cars on Saturday at Eastern Creek and then travel over to WSID to watch the quarter mile action on Saturday night. And then back to Eastern Creek on Sunday to watch the muscle cars in action again, and heading home during the afternoon. The club has paid for accommodation, so we need a $100.00 deposit per person that is attending before June 9th to cover costs and deposits that has to be made for the trip. We don’t have a final price yet per head, but we estimate between $200 - $250 per head for 2 night’s accommodation, entry into Eastern creek for 2 days, entry into WSID Saturday night, travel, and 2 night’s dinners at the park. Breakfasts and lunches will up to each individual to purchase as those times we will be at the track. We are only accepting 18 spots on the bus, those in first with their deposits will guarantee them a seat. There are already 10 seats taken, only 8 seats left, first in first serve. The schedule for the top fuel cars has been moved to the week after the masters. So there will be no drag races at eastern creek on Saturday night. There WILL be a price change for thew trip away and we will announce the final price after the 17th of August. We encourage everybody to pay the final $130.00 now, as we have to pay the bus company the full price a couple of days before we go. Those that have paid the full price before the price change will get a cash refund when the new price is announced.

After discussion at our last committee meeting, there will be no change to the price on our trip to the Muscle Car Masters. But in return the club will be putting on meals for friday and saturday nights and also supply alcohol (limited) and soft drinks. So the only meals that you have to pay for is breakfast and lunch's at the track. All tickets have been purchased, and they are warming up the bus out the back. All those members that are comming that are living in Kempsey and Wauchope, will be picked up and dropped off at their homes. We thank those members that have already paid in full for the trip, those that still have outstanding amounts will be collected in full when boarding the bus.

Tickets have arrived
 : Going by the looks of them, they will not last in your pocket, and they are too big for your wallet. The only way that the tickets will remain in good condition is to bring along a lanyard. The ticket size is 140mm long and 81mm wide, so if you have a lanyard to suit or purchase one that will suit the ticket, so that it will stay in good condition for the 2 days.
