Well, i must be getting old, got the letter from RTA in the mail saying i am eligible for a Gold license ! :eclipsee_

If i hadnt lost my license occasionly when i was youngerer i would have got it a few years ago i guess :

So yes, this thread is useless, but hey, atlease i didnt put a mutha Fokin POLL on it !!!!

Gold license is when in nsw you dont get a traffic offense in 5 years. They give it to you. What happens is if you get booked they go a bit easier on you. Reduce your fines. Has a big leway. Even some police officers will let fines go if your nice to them. Its something to say thankyou for being a good driver and not get caught doing the wrong thing. Oh and saving us paperwork. Thanks have a gold license

Can u lose ur gold license if u commit a couple of traffic offences?

I had a licence in NSW for 7 years, and I never got 1 fine and no offer for a gold licence.

No wonder I left :

i can get my gold licence and im only 21 yay...

i got a lecence renewal thing and it sayd im eligable for a gold licence

lol thats funny.....since you have not got a fine for 5yrs when you do something wrong well go easy on you....thats tops....LOL

I think there should be a poll on whether he deserves it, I've seen some pictures of your car Luke, not all of them are stationary with nothing coming from the rear tyres. :hihi:

If you are a diabetic and are controlled and have had a GOLD licence for 10 years, you LOSE it and can ONLY have a silver :(
