My boss' neighbour just sold his immaculate original 1971 GT Falcon - for $145,000. The same guy then found out he had a Bathurst GTS Monaro with a 327 in it - which was also in top nick and sold that to the same guy for $135,000. My boss had told me how particular his neighbour was with the car, so I was surprised he parted with 2 rare cars - but found out it's because he wants a Phase III GTHO.

Yeah I saw this a while back.

Really interesting stuff.

Pity it was made in 1998 though, I would like to see a version with the BA and BF GTs.

Is this the one with the constant bathurst crap? I think this doco is way to heavy on the bathrust stuff and there is no way near enough on the actual cars themselves. I mean, its just a review of how each model went at bathurst.

I agree.

Every Holden or Ford doco ive seen, always shows more on Bathurst then anything else.

I know Bathurst is important in Ford's and Holden's history, but a more concerntrated look on the road versions, would strongly appeal to a much to a much larger audience. IMO

It would also be alot more interesting, then re-living Bathurst moments, which happened to be re-cycled on any Holden or Ford orientated doco anyway.

I've got the video of it. I've had it for years, before I had a DVD player. The later model stuff isn't too bad. That EL GT looks tough as. Pity it didn't have the "Go" to match the "Show". There's even a segment on the EA GT in which they say it was crushed! How wrong they were.
